Compact desktop Smart card / ID card reader AXAGON CRE-SM3TC FlatReader with USB 480 Mbps interface. It is especially suitable as an ID card reader for use with mobile phones and computers that have a USB-C input. The reversible USB-C connector simplifies use by eliminating the need to orient the connector correctly when plugging into your phone or laptop.
The Plug & Play function allows immediately operational without the need to install drivers. For further use with the inserted card, just install the appropriate application. The reader is compatible with most national applications for eID (electronic ID cards).
The card reader supports all common contact Smart card formats, cards for identification systems and other chip cards, including contact bank payment cards or contact electronic ID cards *. Compatibility with all common OS such as Windows, Linux, macOS and Android, allows wide use on desktops and laptops as well as smartphones and tablets.
The smart LED indicator lights up shortly after the activity change, then turns off and doesn't bother the user with unnecessary light. Compact design, high-quality manufacturing, anti-slip pad and long cable ensure easy and trouble-free use.
